DAPHNE HELENA GACEK (nee HALL) After a lengthy illness, Daphne passed away on March 27, at the age of 80. Daphne was born in Cambuslang, Scotland, immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada, and then to Littleton, Colorado. She was an active member of St. Thomas More, and was for a time, a member of the Pastoral Council, and was a recipient of the Pastors award from Father Michael Walsh. She carried a zeal for life right to her final days. She will be loved and missed by Ted, her loving husband of 44 years; sons Andrew (Sharon) and Michael (Cassandra); grand-daughters Courtney, Jocelyn and Sarah; and three sisters, Valerie, Beryl and Andrea. Rosary will be said Thursday, April 2, at 7:00 p.m. at Horan McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, CO. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 3, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 S. Quebec St., Centennial, CO. In lieu of flowers, if friends wish, contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Building Fund (80112).
